Giulia Noeyes embraced very essential and pared-down conceptual abstraction with technical foundations. It takes its name from the form that distinguishes it, an empty eye, its simplicity critically opposes contemporary society, and underlines the importance of observing and looking beyond fictions. The research is guided by the dynamics of perspective, the overlaps, the “depth of illusion”. And between shadows and voids the elements stand out from the surface.
